Easy to read, written in plain english, well laid out, holds your hand through each stage, full of useful tips, handy to keep nearby as a quick reminder.

The book arrived in 'as good as new' condition(you cannot tell it is 2nd hand)at a fraction of the cost of retail price including shipping AND it was much earlier than the emailed expected date of arrival.I have just completed an online ECDL course using a library-lent copy of this book ahead of a college course in september.I am returning as a mature student so thought my own copy to assist me when writing assignments would be invaluable.

As it says, Excel in easy steps. Clear, detailed enough not to overwhelm, and examples shown. Arrived in good time and perfect condition.

I bought this before starting a new job and I'm glad I did. Reading the first 3 chapters was already enough for me to start improving my skills. Even just knowing about Autosum was transformational for me. Now I keep it on hand for referring to quickly and it's very easy to retrieve particular tips. if you have that sort of learning style where you like things to be explained systematically, this is a good way forward.

The content is maybe too basic for me, but what I don't like is that someone has used the book as something to lean on and the cover is coveried in blue pen marks and indentations where someone has written on a sheet on top of the book. I keep and have my books immaculate and as such am very disappointed
